Accomplishments
CTEMS® has established a baseline from which standards can be identified, defined, adopted and promoted. This baseline was developed with the contributions of all CTEMS® members.
In 2011, CTEMS® accomplished the following:
- Launched CTEMS® Council to enlist insight / participation from all industry participants
- Established an adoption scale for measuring / discussing industry findings
- Identified the relationship of supplier offerings against the 16 core activities
- Identified the enterprise adoption rate of the 16 activities
- Identified top challenges in the industry as identified by suppliers
- Identified top challenges in the industry as identified by enterprises
- Identified enterprise adoption rates for elements within each of the 16 activities
- Identified reporting and report types offered by suppliers
- Identified reporting and report types used by enterprises
- Identified enterprise adoption of KPIs and performance dashboards for their telecom management programs
- Identified financial reporting value derived by enterprise stakeholder groups
- Identified enterprise reporting frequency and delivery methods
- Identified enterprise reporting tools used to generate telecom management reporting
- Identified enterprise accountability for each of the 16 activities
- Identified the work group responsible for performing tasks within each of the 16 activities
- Identified differences in perception between enterprises and suppliers regarding activity accountability and performing activities
- Identified enterprise priorities for 2012
- Identified supplier perception of enterprise priorities for 2012
- Identified elements of each of the 16 activities that require the most and least amount of effort (enterprise perspective)
- Identified differences in the elements of each of the 16 activities requiring the most and least amount of effort based on whether or not a supplier was involved – technology, managed services, BPO (enterprise perspective)
